Still another market is that of geek watches that not only tell the time, but incorporate computers, satellite navigation, and high end technology of various sorts, and many other features that may not be present in the basic forms of timekeeping. A dual time watch is designed for travelers, allowing them to see what time it is at home when they are elsewhere, these can be a combination of digital and analog in one watch.  These gifts watches are often gifted to the so called geek in the family

Companies such as TAG Heuer, Breitling, Panerai and Rolex specialize in rugged, reliable mechanical watches for sport and aviation use.

Companies such as Timex, Casio, and Seiko specialize in watches that are very affordable timepieces or even multifunctional computer type watches.
